Enquiry details and what happens next

What you will need

  • What you need: a replacement engine, a rebuild of your engine, machine shop work such as a cylinder head, or not sure.
  • Your vehicle: make, model, year and series.
  • Rego or VIN: the VIN is the 17-character number on your registration papers.
  • The engine in it now: the engine code if you know it, or "not sure".
  • Fitting or delivery (replacement engines): fitted at our Sydney or Melbourne workshop, or sent for your mechanic to fit. For fitting, where the vehicle is now, in case it needs towing. If it is sent, your suburb, postcode and how it will be unloaded.
  • Owner or workshop: you own the vehicle, or you are a mechanic or workshop (trade).
  • How you found us: Google, Gumtree, word of mouth or ChatGPT.

What happens next

  1. For a replacement engine, we check it suits your vehicle. For a rebuild or machine work, we explain how to get the engine or part to us for inspection.
  2. We send you a quote with the engine, fitting or freight, or the rebuild work, and anything else your job needs. A rebuild is quoted after we inspect the engine.
  3. You decide. The quote is valid for 30 days, and nothing is charged until you accept it.
