Engine payment options, deposits and quotes
This page sets out our engine payment options. It covers how to pay, when a deposit is due, and how long your quote lasts.
Fitting is not included in the price and is quoted separately. Fitting is available at our Sydney and Melbourne workshops.
Can I buy an engine online?
Not at the moment. There is no online checkout and no online deposit. We talk to you first. We check the engine fits your vehicle, then we send you a quote.
Most people like to call and check that we are a real business before they pay. We welcome that. Call us on 02 9737 0105.
How can I pay?
You can pay in two ways:
- Bank transfer. Our bank details are on your quote or invoice.
- Card over the phone. Call us and we take the payment.
Do you take Afterpay?
No. We do not offer Afterpay.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
For a fitting job, yes. A 50% deposit does three things:
- It books your fitting job.
- It holds the engine for your vehicle.
- It secures your place in the queue.
When do I pay for an engine only order?
If you buy the engine only, you pay in full before we release it for shipping. Freight is quoted separately. See shipping and delivery.

How long is my quote valid?
Your quote is valid for 30 days. After that, ask us to check the price and the stock again. We are happy to send you an updated quote.
What does the listed price include?
Engine prices on our listings do not include freight. Freight is quoted for each job. If we fit the engine, your quote shows the fitting price as well.
