Trade engine supply for mechanics and workshops

In short: We want to support your business. Mechanics and workshops get a trade discount on our engines. You can fit the engine yourself, or send the vehicle to our Sydney or Melbourne workshop. We fit it, you add your margin, and you keep the customer. When we fit it, our warranty covers it.

Fitting is not included in the price and is quoted separately. Fitting is available at our Sydney and Melbourne workshops.

Who is trade supply for?

Trade supply is for mechanics, workshops and other businesses that fit engines for their own customers. We are a local, independent and specialised machine shop. We have the experience, and we have workshops in Sydney and Melbourne.

Do you give mechanics a trade discount?

Yes. Mechanics and workshops get a trade discount on our engines. The discount is about 5%. Ask for the trade price for your engine when you enquire.

Can you fit the engine for my customer?

Yes, and we encourage it. Send the vehicle to our Sydney or Melbourne workshop. We fit the engine at a trade price. You add your own margin and invoice your customer. The customer stays yours.

If the vehicle cannot be driven, we can arrange a tow truck to bring it in.

When we fit the engine, our warranty covers it. That includes the fitting work. It is our product, and we make sure it is done right.

What if I fit the engine myself?

That is fine too. We send the engine to your workshop anywhere in Australia. Freight is quoted for each job. See shipping and delivery.

What can I order?

  • New engines. Long motors, ready to fit, for Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda and other makes. One listing is remanufactured. See the shop.
  • Reconditioning. We can rebuild your customer's own engine in our machine shop. See engine servicing and reconditioning.

If you are not sure which engine fits, give us the make, model, year, series and engine code. The rego or VIN helps too. We confirm the fit before we quote. You can also use find my engine.

How do payment and quotes work for trade?

Our standard terms apply. Quotes are valid for 30 days. A 50% deposit books a fitting job and holds the engine. Engine only orders are paid in full before dispatch. You can pay by bank transfer, or by card over the phone. See payment.

How do I open a trade enquiry?

Send an enquiry and choose "I am a mechanic or workshop". Tell us the vehicle, the engine code, and whether you want us to fit it. If you want it sent to you, tell us your suburb, postcode and how you will unload it.
